An All Pink Everything Nashville Girls Trip
Nashville is one of the most up and coming big cities in the US and for good reason! Amazing food, fantastic music, and southern hospitality! My best friend Paige and I have a halfway trip every year since we live long distance from each other (bffs since age 4!) and this year we packed our bags for an all out girls weekend!
Where to Stay
Graduate Nashville: If you want to keep with the girly theme there is NO better place than the Graduate Nashville! It celebrates the feminine icon Dolly Parton in every corner and has an amazing rooftop restaurant and pool! The rooftop restaurant The White Limousine is also just oodles of pink and fun! We loved people watching all the bachelorette parties! The karaoke bar is also so fun and quirky. Although the location is a little far from Broadway we still walked and its worth the distance.
If you want a more downtown trendy vibe the Virgin Hotel has a gorgeous rooftop pool with white and red umbrellas and the location is phenomenal. Another top tier choice is The Joseph which is super luxe with a huge gorgeous pool, big rooms, and light airy vibe. I typically opt for airbnbs over hotel rooms because I think you get more, but in Nashville the hotels are so unique and fun that I think its worth the higher price for more amenities! What to Do
Broadway Street Honky-tonks: Music is a must when in Nashville and leaning into the country vibe will make your trip a blast! Our first night we hit the world famous Broadway Street with multi-level hony-tonks and bars owned by famous country stars. Each floor has music and almost everyone we saw was amazing! Have fun bouncing around, we went wherever the line wasn’t too long so we could see it all. People watching here is the best with all the bachelorette and bachelor parties going by in tractors.
Attend a Music Room: Seeing a music room is also a must do while in the area since it is such a uniquely Nashville experience. We went to The Listening Room Cafe which was fantastic. Singer-song writers take the stage and try out new songs that they will often sell to major names! It was so cool hearing a song we heard on the radio several months later! It was a side of the music industry I never knew and they were all extremely talented (so much so we thought THEY should be the stars!). Another classic is The Bluebird Cafe where some big stars have come from, it is very popular so you will need to try your luck at getting tickets (we did not) and hope for the best!
Explore Nashville’s Unique Neighborhoods: Nashville has a ton of different neighborhoods with their own distinct character. Germantown has lots of cafes and cute houses to walk around the charming neighborhood. The Nashville Farmers Market is over there too and it was huge with super cool shops! The Gulch was super trendy & upscale with great shops and fine dining. We loved walking around this area window shopping and grabbing a drink at L.A. Jackson’s amazing rooftop patio.
Printer’s Row was a cool little district with more of a laid-back music scene compared to Broadway. We enjoyed popping in and listening to some jazz with a cocktail. I love looking at the vintage neon signs that line Nashville’s streets
Where to Eat
White Limousine: Once again going to highlight The Graduate Hotel for their beautiful rooftop restaurant White Limousine. You will want reservations here for brunch, this place isn’t that big and its always crowded. They have a great brunch menu with fun drink options!
Another great food spot is The Mockingbird! We loved the food + drinks here and rumor has it that this is one of Taylor Swift’s favorite spots in Nashville so keep your eyes out!
Did you even go to the south if you didn’t have fried chicken? I think we found the essential fried chicken for a girls trip at the lovely L.A. Jackson, glitter chicken!! This hip rooftop bar is beautiful and I was so happy when the waitress brought a truly sparkly platter of fried chicken with pink flowers. Perfect last meal for our best friends trip!
