Have a True Texan Experience at Spirit Ranch

Spirit Ranch is a such a hidden gem right outside Austin Texas! We stayed a whole month and it could not have been better. You have your own space in the adorable, brand new tiny house and enjoyed every second of it. If you are looking for a really unique experience in a great location, this is for you! What to Expect

My husband, our dog Argo and I were a little nervous to stay in a tiny house, but Delana the owner did such a great job designing it and it has absolutely everything we needed! The front porch faces the sunset which were gorgeous every night and there is a horse pasture right out front so we could watch the horses graze and play as we sipped our coffee in the morning or had a glass of wine at night!

The Property

Spirit Ranch is a huge working ranch all run by Delana who is the nicest person! The tiny house is secluded and very private away from the other buildings. There is a dairy barn that has been turned into an event space nearby that has a big, huge grandfather oak tree that was really nice to sit under in the Texas heat and turning on the misters to cool off is great! Next to the barn is the horse stables which are all beautiful and very sweet. Passed the main house and through some pastures you will find a really tranquil pond with a hammock and the fish house which is a great place to relax! The cow pastures are also close by the fish house. I loved exploring all the areas of the huge ranch!

The Experience

While at the ranch, we really got the full experience. Delana took us out to feed the cows and horses, and I gave the horses a bath! I loved seeing animals every day and there were baby cows during our stay! We watched Texas sunsets, swang in hammocks, let our doggo run free, and relaxed every day. The stars were amazing every night and our tiny had a firepit in front that was really nice to use!

The ranch was beautifully situated above a valley and the views were amazing. You would never know the cute town of Georgetown is a quick drive away and Austin is close too!

Check Out Georgetown

Georgetown is the town Spirit Ranch is in, and the historic town is worth a visit. The shops are very cute and there are some great restaurants! Walk around the square and see one of the cutest towns in Texas. Georgetown also has everything else you’d need for a longer stay in Texas too, like an H.E.B. grocery store which was awesome, trying Torchy’s Tex Mex is a must and In-N-Out Burger!
